Introducing Streamfold

Hey everyone! We're Ray, Mike, Matt, and Josh, and we're excited to introduce you to Streamfold. As an experienced team of infrastructure nerds, we've led engineering at amazing companies like Segment, Netlify, and Snowflake. We also worked together to build Librato and Papertrail. In our shared history we've built and operated large scale telemetry systems, encompassing: metrics, events, logs, and traces. We love being part of the observability community and are excited to be working in this space again!

Telemetry data is growing exponentially. We started Streamfold to give developers more control and flexibility when managing it. Specifically:

• Telemetry data is expensive and hard to manage, we don’t think it should be.
• SRE, BI and security teams should be able leverage telemetry together, rather than duplicating their efforts.
• You should be able to store your data where it works best for you (including cost-efficient cloud storage), not your vendors.

We've seen major advances in the data engineering space and believe the infrastructure and application telemetry space needs similar investment. We're working hard to bring solutions that operate at the speed of developers, using the tools and languages they love, with the safety guardrails and visibility you are used to when deploying production applications.
